Ardsley Garage
The garage is buried within a rock cut and features a “green” roof that will be planted with native
grasses and wildflowers to integrate the structure into the site. Only the front façade will be visible
and is designed in a “Usonian” style to blend with the site rock and future buildings planned for
the property.

Westchester County Park Maintenance Building
The goals of the design are to provide a sustainable design with an efficient open space plan for the storage and maintenance of park vehicles and equipment. The south facing roof is designed to support photovoltaic panels, which will supply the majority of the electrical power for the building. Hydronic roof panels may also be installed to provide building hot water. A clerestory above the masonry base provides natural light and ventilation for the building interior.

Greenburgh Deck
The goal of the deck design is to provide a large defined open area for family parties and also smaller intimate gatherings while maintaining direct access to the spacious backyard. Two wood frame pergolas organize and define seating and cooking areas. The pergola roofs are sheathed in a hardwood lattice, which provides shading from the sun but still maintains an open feel.

Ardsley Addition

Additions to a 1950's home on a very steep site. The goal of the design is to enhance the original
“Usonian” character of the home and take advantage of the spectacular (tree house like) views
while providing larger living spaces (indoor and outdoor) and better accessibility to the main level
of the house. Work includes a new living room, dining room, large deck, guest bedroom suite,
exercise room, studio, elevator and a site access road.
