Kent Johnsson is the founding
principal of Kent Johnsson Architect PLLC and has over 22 years of professional
experience.
Kent was born in Helsinki, Finland and immigrated to the United States
with his family when he was nine years old. He grew up in Suffern, New
York and attended SUNY at Buffalo where he obtained a Bachelor of Science
in Architecture degree followed by a Master of Architecture degree.
Mr. Johnsson became a New York State Licensed Architect in 1989.
Prior to starting Kent Johnsson Architect PLLC Kent was the Senior
Project Manager in charge of all Commercial and Medical work at Norman
DiChiara Architects, PC (NDA) from 2002 to 2007 in White Plains, NY.
Before Joining NDA, he was a Senior Associate at Einhorn Yaffee Prescott,
Architecture & Engineering, PC (EYP) in their New York City office
from 1997 to 2002. Before working at EYP, Kent was an Associate with
David Busing & Associates from 1987 to 1997 in White Plains, NY.
Kent's first architectural position was with Martin Kravitt Architects
in Katonah, NY where he interned as a designer and construction manager
from 1985 to 1987.
